The Perfect Pumpkin Purée

And just like that, you will never buy a store bought can of pure pumpkin again.

This recipe is so simple, yet makes such a difference when it comes to seasonal baking. All you need are two simple ingredients.
Ingredients:
- 2 Sugar pumpkins... otherwise known as 'Pie' pumpkins
- Avocado Oil
Directions:
Preheat your oven to 400 degrees
Line a baking sheet with foil
Cut off the ends of each pumpkin and slice down the middle
'Gut' pumpkins, saving the seeds is optional for roasting later!
Lightly brush the bottoms of pumpkins with avocado oil and place face down on baking sheet
Roast for 40-45 minutes or until skin is lightly golden
Remove from oven and peel off the skin (should be extremely easy as to where the skins almost fall off!)
Place pumpkin halves into food processor or blender and blend!
Store in an air tight container for up to two weeks
Wow this sound delicious and sure beats nasty can chemicals
