The best CRISPY BUT NOT FRIED chicken wings !

SO GOOD that we didn't even need any sauce! They literally fell right off the bone with the most amazing crisp on the outside.















INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 pack of chicken wings

  • 5 tsp. baking POWDER

  • 1 tsp. seasoning salt

  • 1 1/2 tsp. onion powder

  • 1 tsp. garlic powder

  • 1/2 tsp. black pepper







Directions:

  1. Separate the wing from the drums (if they already are not)

  2. Pat dry chicken and lay skin side up on metal wire rack

  3. Place in fridge overnight, or for a few hours prior to cooking to evaporate as much moisture as possible

  4. Preheat oven to 300 degrees. While oven is preheating, add all seasonings above to a large zip-lock bag. Add chicken and shake to coat completely

  5. Bake skin side up for 20 mins at 300 degrees

  6. Remove from oven, and raise oven temperature to 425 degrees

  7. Once oven has reached temperature, put back in oven for another 40 minutes

  8. Once finished cooking, broil for 1-2 minutes on high

  9. Remove from oven and let stand for a few minutes to really get that crisp to the skin.
